Emily Bennett

Executive Director

Emily graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. She has over 10 years experience working in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care communities. Emily is a volunteer for the Cleveland Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Born and raised in East Liverpool, OH and currently resides in North Ridgeville with her husband. She enjoys going on new adventures with her two daughters. Emily’s golden retriever, Cody previously “worked” as a therapy dog at her previous community. It was her aunt who instilled in Emily her love and compassion for the geriatric population. Emily is thrilled to be a part of the VITALIA® Westlake team!

Laura Baltmiskyte

Senior Living Director

Laura Baltmiskyte is a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Exercise Wellness. Pursuing her passion for exercise, she recently became a Certified Personal Trainer! She was born in Lithuania, but spent most of her life growing up in Rocky River, OH. In her free time she loves to work out, paint, and travel.

Laura is here to provide residents with a variety of exciting events and entertainment. She is excited for her first year in Senior Living!

Mallory Turner, LPN

Director of Wellness

Mallory joins VITALIA® with over 10 years experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care communities. She was born in Cleveland and raised in North Ridgeville. Mallory has a twin sister and is 1 of 5 children. Mallory enjoys spending all her free time with her 2 year old son, Levi. Her hobbies include going to her nieces' and nephews' sporting events, cooking, and going camping with her family. Mallory believes in the power of a chuckle and is excited to be part of the VITALIA® Westlake team.

Jennifer Robie

Business Office Director

Jennifer was born and raised in Erie, PA and currently resides in Strongsville, OH with her boyfriend Matt. She loves going back home to spend time with her family, hanging out with her friends, and traveling. She graduated from Kent State University and has previous experience in similar roles in local Senior Living Communities. Jennifer is our Business Office Director and will be the first contact for VITALIA Westlake® if you are looking to join our team! She believes in providing a welcoming environment and opportunity for all new and current team members!

Chase Wilcox

Culinary Director

Chef Chase Wilcox is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began his culinary career at the age of 15, bussing tables in a historic fine dining restaurant in Albuquerque. After three months he persuaded the Chef to give him a shot in the kitchen. He’s been there ever since, rising to the level of Executive Chef by the age of 25. At that point he decided to attend culinary school at Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. After graduation, he interned for Chef Francesco Martorella in Philadelphia, and then returned to New Mexico as Executive Chef at The Georgia O’Keefe Café in Santa Fe. Chef Wilcox has worked across the United States from coast to coast, picking up influences from every region. In 2008, he opened his own restaurant, WestChase Grille, with longtime friend and business partner John Westerhaus in Kansas City. In 2009, WestChase Grille received a Wine Spectator Award. In 2011, Chef Wilcox relocated to Ohio, where he met his wife, Heidi, and had their daughter, Oona Jean. He was the Executive Chef at Lorain County Community College before joining the VITALIA® Westlake team.

Greg Turvey

Plant Operations Director

Greg grew up in Olmsted falls and currently lives in North Olmsted. He graduated from Olmsted Falls High School and went to Polaris for his last two years of high school to study HVAC. He has worked in the maintenance/Hvac field for the last 27 years. Greg found his true passion for the senior living industry over 7 years ago. He and his wife, Katie, have been married for 19 years and have two boys: Cody, who is 12, and Hunter, who is 8. They enjoy spending time together as a family traveling, camping, and being outdoors. Greg helps coach his sons' hockey teams and plays on an adult hockey league. He also assists with Cub scouts and Boy Scouts.

Rachael Welday

Lead Operations Coordinator

Rachael graduated from The University of Akron in 2016 with her Bachelors in Psychology. She worked for 3 years in higher education administration before starting her career and newfound passion in senior living. She was raised in Norton, Ohio, and graduated from Norton High School. For the last 7 years she has been living in Akron, Ohio. Rachael was recently married in September 2018 to her husband, Anthony. Rachael and Anthony met while they were both attending The University of Akron. They have 2 cats, Mary Margaret and Neil, named after characters from TV series "Once Upon A Time". In her free time Rachael enjoys visiting with her family and friends, crocheting, hooping and baking. She also enjoys supporting her local non-profits and sorority chapter.

Ali Schillace

Memory Care Coordinator

Ali graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Art Therapy and Psychology. She has over 25 years experience working in Inpatient Geropsych, skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care communities. Ali is an Advocate volunteer for the Cleveland Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association Girl Scout leader with the Westlake Service unit. She grew up in Olmsted Falls, and now lives in Westlake with her husband and 2 daughters. Ali helped to care for her Grandmother with Dementia and found her passion for working in Memory Care. Ali is thrilled to be a part of the VITALIA® Westlake team!
